The Reverend Barry Olsen BA, BD, ThL. was appointed as House For Duty priest to serve the united benefice of Rotherfield Peppard and Kidmore End and Sonning Common. Barry was licensed at St.John the Baptist Church, Kidmore End on 2nd September 2003 by the Bishop of Dorchester, the Right Reverend Colin Fletcher OBE. Barry is assistant priest and shares ministry and services in the united benefice with Graham Foulis Brown

Barry was ordained in New Zealand in 1964 and held several posts there until coming to the United Kingdom in 1981. He has served in the Guildford Diocese and until his retirement was Vicar of Botleys and Lyne and Longcross, a post he held since 1984.
