All Saints' People |

All Saints' is a church that places a high value on music as part of worship. The Organist and Director of Music is therefore an important position in the life of All Saints'. Nigel works closely with the choir, especially with practice and rehearsals. In addition he plays the organ at many services, but shares this work with the assitant organist, especially at festal services. |

Nigel Wallington Nigel Wallington BSc, ARCS, ALCM, has been Organist and Director of Music at All Saints' since 1999. He was born and brought up in Warwick where he became assistant organist at the Collegiate Church of St.Mary. He studied under Geoffrey Holroyde and became an Associate of the London College of Music at the age of 17. After graduating in physics at Imperial College, London where he was organist and choirmaster for the West London Chaplaincy to the University of London, he began a career in software engineering in the Reading area. In recent years, his organ playing has been in much demand at weddings and funerals throughout the area, so that he is no stranger to many of the organs in South Oxfordshire and Berkshire. |
